Fiddling Around

Ahh, spring is in the air! Windows are open and the kids are playing outside which means, I can blog a bit more than I have in the past few months.  Our next project is quite the unique thing.  Ty thought it would be fun to build himself a violin that's a bit more unique than the ones you find everywhere else.  He made this one from an old cigar box and part of an old broken violin. Let's take a look!!  The details here will be vague. Until Ty can help me a bit more. ;)   Ty started with a broken violin, a cigar box, and some other misc. pieces.  Ty added some length to the box and drew the shape of the instrument so it would have the right fit and feel while playing.
