Found It!

Every spring and summer you will find us in Sparks, KS at the Sparks Antiques and Collectibles Flea Market.  You can join us sometime!

I feel like each time we go, we get a little better at it. This past fall we got a wagon, to tote the small kids and/or a cooler of drinks and snacks.  The kids do not enjoy the trip so the second day they stayed with Grandma & Grandpa, so Ty and I each took a friend with us and we took our pick up truck and make a big haul!!

Since I can't possibly remember every.single.thing. I bought in Sparks I'll share a couple of my favorites that are decorative pieces.  When I look around my living room, I see a lot of things we have purchased in Sparks!  They have what we like!

The picture above is two things we found, I believe in Spring 2015.  It's a trunk and a porta-cello! I have been taking cello lessons for a little over a year and this little cello struck my fancy.  It's odd, and you just don't see too many of them.  We got a sweet deal on this and it's actually playable.

A little history on the porta-cello I found on the interwebs is that it was made by Knilling in England in the late 60's.  Their intent was to make an instrument that was more portable for students.

This is what it looked like when we purchased it. No case and a sad string.

The Trunk has served us well.  Not only is it lovely with it's canvas and beautiful wood pieces and black metal.  It has an insert in the top making it really functional.  It's a great place for blankets on the bottom and fedoras, that seem to get smashed in the closet, fit perfectly in the tray!

These are the first two things I'll share, but watch for more!
